This is a hybrid position working 3 days in office, 2 remote. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Work collaboratively with international property facultative underwriters on all aspects of rating and processing new and renewal business. Receive submissions from clients and enter relevant data into systems. Book premium in underwriting systems, issue slips and process endorsements. Monitoring open items associated with reinsurance business Follow up for additional information from brokers Help with risk modeling and rating Engage with clients as needed and deliver excellent service. Qualifications, Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree preferred 1-3 years’ experience working in the US or international insurance or reinsurance industry. Prior experience in property underwriting is preferred, however claims or brokerage experience also acceptable. CPCU or other relevant industry courses are helpful. Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: Fluent in English and Spanish required. Proficiency in Portuguese or other languages is a plus. Prior experience in Nat CAT or risk modeling is a plus. Possess analytical abilities Needs to be very detail oriented, organized, and have ability to multi-task and balance priorities. Good communication skills and collaborative spirit. Comfortable taking initiative to achieve objectives and open to receiving feedback from colleagues and peers.
