Job Description The Financial Services of Everest Global Services, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd. is looking for a Sr. Accountant Analyst to join our Warren, New Jersey office. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Review and reconcile agency and direct bill accounts receivable. Clear receivables by identifying and resolving outstanding balances with follow-up and coordination with other departments. Preparation of documents to demonstrate compliance with SOX key controls. Quarterly Non-Admitted Asset report completion and review. Prepare journal entries using the PeopleSoft Ledger system. Review non-payment cancellation and reinstatement processes. Review current processes and systems. Recommend upgrades or alternative solutions for improvement in efficiency to ensure long-term sustainability. Provide excellent service to all internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications, Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree majoring in accounting, finance or business is required. Supervisory experience a plus. 3 - 5 years of accounting experience required. Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: Advanced Excel Skills (i.e. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP). Proficiency in creating, maintaining, and improving Microsoft Excel worksheets to efficiently handle large amounts of data. Strong analytical, problem solving and technical skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage time and be able to multitask in an ever-changing environment. Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with co-workers, management, and internal/external customers.
