This is a hybrid position working 3 days in office, 2 remote. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Price reinsurance treaties and liaise with underwriting in support of our Treaty Property book of business, with potential support for other North America EvRe teams. Peer review pricing for other members of the team. Perform profitability studies for actuarially sound planning and portfolio management and present results to senior management. Perform trend studies and line of business studies and present results to senior management. Participate in client visits, broker meetings, and marketing events as requested by the underwriters. Work with management to produce presentations and reports to meet management, board, and strategy reporting needs. Qualifications, Education & Experience: Years of experience: 3-7 in P&C actuarial pricing - reinsurance pricing or large account pricing preferred. Emphasis on short-tail property lines a plus. Familiarity with cat modeling outputs a plus. 2-5 actuarial exams and pursuing credentialing in the Casualty Actuarial Society. Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: Ideal candidate is a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, strong business acumen, and excellent communications skills. Able to work in dynamic and agile environment, especially through remote setting. Technical know-how including Excel, VBA, SQL, Python, etc. a plus. For NYC Only: The base salary range for this position is $85,000-$120,000 annually.
