About the role :

Our IT Corporate Applications department is looking for an VP I, IT Business of IT, Delivery Lead to join their team.

You will be responsible for managing and motivating a multi-discipline Business of IT Agile Team. Products manage include ServiceNow, SailPoint, Atlassian products like JIRA and Confluence in support of IT’s mission in the organization.

You will manage cadence of delivery and ensure the effectiveness of the team to produce quality deliverables aligned to business values and objectives.

Responsibilities include but not limited to :

  • Lead a team of staff, consultants, and business team members on various projects for the Company.
  • Manage day to day support responsibilities for the corporate applications systems with a focus on the portfolio within the Business of IT (e.

g. ServiceNow, Atlassian JIRA / Confluence and SailPoint Applications) in the Portfolio while providing managerial and technical leadership as an IT Leader

  • Ability to create consumable user stories with other release train members by gathering business requirements, lead development of prototypes and / or high-fidelity mock-ups to validate and refine requirements, and define tasks required for implementing and maintaining ServiceNow, JIRA, SailPoint and similar applications throughout their lifecycles.
  • Drive Agile teams and methodologies in a virtual environment.
  • Provide leadership with the ongoing development of policies and procedures for the purpose of consistent product delivery in the application environments.
  • Experience advising, coaching, and leading Agile (i.e., SAFe) Application implementation teams.
  • Develop and collaborate with internal departments and external organizations to make effective and timely decisions in alignment with departmental direction.
  • Work closely with business partners to implement projects including the development of plans, management of resources and deliverables in Application Portfolio
  • Manage and drive projects to completion for the organization and forecast, plan, and deliver on budget.
  • Participate in the requirements gathering with Business, prioritization of backlog and maintain application roadmaps.
  • Contribute to functional and technical design documents.
  • Work with internal IT teams to provide requirements and SME support.
  • Enforce team to practice Agile Methodology and Adhere to Agile rules.
  • Collaborate with VMO for all vendor communications.
  • Be proactive and foresee challenges on Project execution. Propose and Discuss with Management on the solutions to overcome the challenges.
  • Budgets and forecasts, Demand, Organizational Skills, and Provisioning of team resources effectively
  • Critical Thinking for solutions and proactive recommendations to senior leadership
  • Able to work and manage competing priorities, manage tasks, and deliver results.
  • Ability to rationalize risks, opportunities, and draw plans of action and recommendations.
  • Functional and Technical mix of expertise in the Business of IT portfolio (ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, SailPoint etc.

Experienced in development methodology (Agile / Lean, DevOps) and life cycle methodology.

Qualifications, Education & Experience :

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in information technology
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Implementation leadership or senior level manager position responsible for implementation and delivery.
  • Minimum 7 years Production Support experience (L3, hyper care, problem management)
  • Minimum 7 years AMS and vendor management of delivery and support as a service. SLA management and KPIs establishment and management of services against performance metrics in a global model.
  • Track record of medium and large-scale delivery using Agile methodologies such as DevSecOps and SAFe
  • Experience managing business engagements, starting with building strong relationships with the various business leads and balancing a wide variety of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities.
  • Proven ability to promote ideas and proposals persuasively, shape stakeholders’ opinions, project a positive image, work through conflicts, and negotiate win / win solutions.
  • Proven ability to apply financial insights and draw accurate conclusions from financial and other quantitative information.
  • Expert problem solving, risk management and presenting solutions toward successful resolution.
  • Effective stakeholder relationship management with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Business operations and / or strategic planning experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in project management, business analysis, and technology implementation in full life-cycle engagements
  • Preferred Qualifications : ServiceNow Platform CertificationAtlassian JIRA CertificationSailPoint CertificationSAFe Agilist CertificationPMP CertificationITILv4 Certification
