About the role: We are looking for a talented Senior Systems Engineer who has extensive systems engineering experience and are looking for a job that will present new challenges and allow you to oversee top-level implementation of Active Directory / GPO, new designs and technologies, you will work closely with management and other team experts and systems analysts to develop and implement new solutions to address our evolving performance and efficiency requirements. Must be able to work knowledgeably and be able to explain company’s systems, but also able to explain how the system works, and the ability to work well under pressure and identify solutions quickly is essential to keep the company’s system at optimal operational levels. You will also be responsible for diagnosing and resolving application issues to ensure optimal production performance and usability for the various system users and providing root cause analysis with recommendations for improvements. You will support the growth of our server team through sharing their domain and practicing knowledge with peers. In addition, the Senior Server Engineer II may mentor members on the server team and even lead other teams on larger projects. Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To Proven Active Directory Administrator with at least 10 years of experience. Skilled at conducting cross-platform audits for Active Directory objects and user permissions, a good understanding of Azure Active Directory is a plus. Standardized domains removing obsolete accounts and organizing Active Directory GPO (Group Policy Objects) structure. Creating & Managing Users & Groups. Creating & Managing Origination Units, Sites, and Group policies. Function as a liaison between the business area, technical organization, and other affected areas in planning, directing, and conducting the resolution of simple and complex business issues. Work with the software development teams and consulting vendor service providers. Manage and assist in the triage of application incidents. Provide timely updates and feedback to the incident originator. Manage the incident through the life cycle of the issue. Work with software development teams and vendors to implement fixes and software upgrades to the application platforms. Identify engineering risk, research, and develop process improvements in dedication to risk reduction and continuous improvement. ·Accountable for performing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly operational tasks required for the ongoing functionality of applications and their adherence to all SOX/Audit controls. Work Experience and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher 10 years of Sever Engineer Experience with disciplines on, Active Directory, Group Policies and Windows Servers. Experience with Azure is a plus. Experience with Windows Server operating systems 2016, 2019 and above. Experience with Linux Server is a plus. Experience working with the entire Software Development Life Cycle, whether Agile or Waterfall Basic Networking Skills Understanding Server Patching (Windows, Linux) Critically thinking to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. Strong ability to perform and troubleshoot analysis of complex business, workflow, and technology issues to support decision-making. Critical thinking and ability to translate business needs into technological solutions. Effective at presenting and facilitating a variety of formal and informal meetings: one-on-one, small, and large groups. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Visio, and Microsoft Project Experience with PowerShell Scripting and troubleshooting a plus. For CA and NYC: The base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $150,000 annually.
