To support this, we are currently looking for a Financial Accounting & Reporting Manager within the Financial Reporting unit for our headquarters in Warren, New Jersey. This is a hybrid position working 3 days in office, 2 remote. Reporting to the Assistant VP of Financial Reporting, the responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist in completion of quarterly close process with preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, elimination and consolidation etc. Conduct accounting policy research including peer benchmarks Assist in preparing accounting policy memorandums Review of consolidated GAAP financial statements for the Company and relevant subsidiaries Oversee Preparation of SEC filings and external reporting requirements such as 8-K, proxy, et Assist with preparation and review of GAAP financial statements for Company’s qualified retirement plan and employee savings plan Working closely with internal and external auditors Assists with maintaining SOX internal control documentation for the financial reporting process Work Experience & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree majoring in accounting, finance or business is required. Minimum 4 - 6 years of accounting experience requirement. GAAP reporting and SEC knowledge is required. SOX experience preferred. Hands on knowledge of Microsoft Office software (specifically, Word and Excel) Advanced Excel Skills (i.e. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) Knowledge of Workiva financial reporting software a plus. Knowledge of PeopleSoft or Oracle software a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. Ability to work with others as a team player or independently on an individual task. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Ability to meet reporting deadlines. Overtime may be required during peak reporting periods.
