(‘Everest’ or ‘the Group’), is seeking a Director, Third Party Risk Management to join our team in Warren, New Jersey. The Third-Party Management Department is responsible for standardizing and establishing framework standards, policies, and guidelines that manage sourcing, contracts, due diligence, risk, resiliency and engagement with third party dependencies. This role coordinates with the existing third-party risk, sourcing, and governance organizations across shared services, Compliance, Legal, IT and the business. Candidate must have the ability to work in a high paced environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Liaise with vendors, service providers and internal clients to ensure all issues are monitored and resolved in a timely manner; Ensure internal compliance to the company's policies, procedures, and preferred suppliers; Maintain Third Party Management content posted on the intranet site; Liaise with sourcing, expense management, Legal, Compliance, IT and other peer departments on assigned projects and provide support to other Everest office locations as needed; Design and align TPRM program methodology to be consistent with global regulatory expectations and industry best-practices; Author accountable to the governing adherence (e.g. Policy) of TPRM expectations; Train and govern supporting stakeholders across TPRM activities; Provide regular reporting to Risk Committee, Board, Senior Leadership on program status, compliance, risks, and on-going issue management; Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders across the control functions and divisions; Perform gap analysis against existing process with the intent to manage TPRM centrally and align all third-party due diligence processes and manage mitigating resolution of gaps; Leverage existing issues management process or design a fit-for-purpose mechanism to capture and manage issues, disruptions, non-performers across the TPRM portfolio; Coordinate with Business Continuity (BC) leaders to develop disruption strategies/plans for critical third-parties process dependencies; Contribute to Business Continuity policy and standards as it pertains to setting effective third party dependency management strategies, capabilities, and risk controls; Provide training, testing methodology and other support to business continuity and resiliency initiatives; Support the due diligence and escalate material gaps that pose resiliency and disruption risk; Support the integrity of third-party central inventory and data. Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related business field preferred; Minimum of 5 years’ experience in third party management handling any of the following: procurement, contracts, business dependency, risk management of these areas; Experience both managing a team and working as a key contributor preferred; Proven record working with third party vendors; Must have effective communication skills, the ability to multitask and manage priorities, and a proactive approach to job responsibilities; Leadership and ability to translate third party terminology, posture, standing, and risks to stakeholders and regulators; High proficiency in Outlook, Word & Excel is required; working knowledge of Microsoft Project is a plus.
