Evercor facility Management is one of the fastest growing facility maintenance providers in the Northeast. We are a self-performing facility maintenance company seeking a Maintenance and Cleaning Lead to assist one of our clients in the Wilkes-Barre area. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is responsible, collaborative work style, and a focus on effective communication with internal and external business partners. The Maintenance and Cleaning Lead will be responsible for overseeing other technicians on the shift and making sure all work gets completed in a safe and timely manner. You will have full support of our management team and be working alongside leaders with years of knowledge and experience in the facility maintenance industry. We operate 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, servicing some of the largest fortune 500 companies in the country.

Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Rate: $23/hour

Shift: Wednesday-Saturday: 5:00 PM-3:30 AM with flexibility to occasionally assist with other shifts as needed.

$500 sign-on bonus! $250 after 30 days with no call offs and then another $250 for the second month.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Oversees work of assigned maintenance and cleaning team employees on the night shift.
• Addresses minor discipline problems with team members; refers more serious cases to the General Manager.
• Assists with the planning and preparation of training and orientation for new maintenance team members.
• Inspect maintenance projects and all cleaning SOW while on duty to ensure completion.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
• Works with the General Manager to plan work priorities, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks.
• Assesses building systems to plan work assignments.
• Collaborates with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments; delegates assignments based on team members skills and experience.
• Ensures maintenance and repair work is completely safely, effectively, and in a timely manner.
• Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments.
• Inspects work performed by team members for both cleaning and maintenance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to walk, stand, squat, and climb ladders throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Maintenance and/or cleaning experience, preferably in a warehouse setting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with customer and internal.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to identify issues and to determine repairs that are needed.
• Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Google Suite or related software as needed to complete reports, logs, and inventory.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience preferably in a warehouse setting..
• 3-5 years supervisory experience overseeing a team of 8-15 employees.
• Programmable logic controls experience.
• OSHA knowledge is a plus.
