In this role, you will be an integral part of ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of linens and textiles used in various events. We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient individual with experience in handling the unique demands of the event industry.

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain industrial laundry machinery tailored for event industry requirements, such as specialty linens, drapes, and tablecloths.

Load and unload event-specific items into industrial washers and dryers, paying special attention to delicate fabrics.

Inspect items for stains, damages, and ensure adherence to high cleanliness standards.

Utilize industry-specific detergents and chemicals for optimal cleaning and presentation.

Monitor and adjust machine settings to accommodate different fabrics used in event setups.

Fold, stack, and package linens with precision to meet event specifications.

Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines, especially considering the unique requirements of the event industry.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as an Industrial Laundry Operator with a focus on the event industry is highly desirable.

Knowledge of industrial laundry equipment, specialized detergents, and chemicals used in event settings.

Ability to handle and process different types of event-specific fabrics and textiles.

Attention to detail and commitment to meeting the high standards of the event industry.

Physical stamina and the ability to lift and handle event-specific items.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Team player with effective communication skills, especially when collaborating with event planners and staff.

Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
