Medical Assistant for Family Practice (CMA/RMA)

As any employee of this practice it will be required that you be punctual, friendly, have strong work ethic and most of all be a true TEAM PLAYER. Knowledge of immunizations will be required. Salary will be negotiable depending on individuals credentials and experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Rooming patients: vital signs
• injections
• immunizations
• rapid strep test
• Urinalysis/ Urine Preg Test
• Referrals
• room prep/ assist provider w/ minor surgical procedures
• Autoclave
• PA/ Pre-certifications
• Phone Triage
• Medication reconciliation
• EKG
• Snellen Eye Chart
• Audiograms
• Scheduling appointments and procedures
• excellent communication w/ other offices as well as hospitals

Qualifications and Skills

• REQUIRED: CMA/RMA/LPN/ CNA Certification
• knowledge of EPIC EMR a plus
• attention for detail
• strong computer skills
• CPR & First Aid certified
• Vaccine Schedule knowledge
• HIPAA and OSHA compliance
• OB knowledge is a plus
