As client-facing professionals, Medical Receptionists play a key role in representing a practice and must have professional behavior and appearance. A Medical Receptionist provides appropriate feedback to the medical team, follow-up information to the patients and correctly input data as required. Medical receptionist performs a number of duties, including greeting and scheduling patients, calling patients to remind them of appointments, handling billing, answering and routing calls, making transactions, keeping paperwork organized and other basic administrative duties.
