Description:
We are looking for one full-time staff member to provide operational and programmatic support for NJ FamilyCare’s community doula care and related benefits.
We are looking for applicants with strong interpersonal and organizational skills to support operational and programmatic work within NJ FamilyCare (NJ’s Medicaid and CHIP program) related to NurtureNJ. NurtureNJ is a statewide campaign to improve health outcomes for NJ FamilyCare birthing individuals and reduce racial health disparities in maternal and infant health. A significant area of immediate focus will be providing support to community doula providers as NJ FamilyCare is committed to helping members more easily access these services.
Operational and programmatic responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to: coordination with and monitoring of state vendors and NJ FamilyCare managed care to ensure accurate information about community doula providers and benefits is available to support member access to their services; primary responsibility in tracking and supporting progress of community doula applicants through enrollment within NJ FamilyCare; effectively coordinate frequent email and phone communication with multiple community providers; create, update, and audit communications (including websites, trainings,
member and provider resources) for clarity and alignment with current NJ FamilyCare policies for community doula care; run data analytics and provide written and tabular summaries related to evaluation of the community doula benefit; support the enrollment of other non-clinical providers within NJ FamilyCare; build and maintain relationships with NJ doula community.
Preference will be given to applicants with either of the following: (1) applicants with education or experience as a doula (2) applicants with education or experience in clinical maternal health.
