Euclid Vision Corporation is Hiring an Engineer Technician Near Sterling, VA
Responsibilities included:
Perform and document routine preventative maintenance and calibration procedures on the required schedule for all manufacturing equipment.
Execute validation protocols developed for equipment and processes.
Install and repair manufacturing equipment and general facilities repair.
Execute methods used in the prevention, control or remediation of safety hazards.
Assist engineers with developing, documenting, assembly and testing of computer controlled mechanical systems.
Assist engineers with revisions and improvements to manufacturing methods and or procedures.
Assemble of modify existing or new tooling, fixtures and equipment to ensure efficient production methods.
Assist manufacturing with production of lenses as directed.
Minimum Qualifications:
High-school diploma or associate degree in engineering technology or related field or combination of education and experience with electrical or mechanical systems.
Ability to perform all assigned tasks, work independently, and complete work on schedule.
Follow direction while displaying cooperative and positive behavior with co-workers.
Ability to both stand or walk for 8hrs or extended periods
Basic understanding and ability to read prints and schematics.
Basic understanding of electronics, electronic diagnostic equipment for trouble shooting.
Working knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Word, excel and outlook.
Strong problem-solving skills and efficient management of time and resources.
Ability to effectively communicate and read English.
