Duties/Responsibilities:

• Special outreach and program development efforts to improve and increase congregate meal sites in the region.
• Develop a basic health and wellness plan for each county (16) in the region.
• Coordination with the ET Nutrition Contractors and state office.
• Provide training to all the County Offices on Aging and Senior Centers to improve data entry in the new Mon Ami data system.
• Work to identify unmet needs through coordination with the nutrition, office on aging and senior center staff.
• Assist to support volunteer recruitment and retention for the AAAD provider network.
• Position funded through June 30, 2025.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a B.A. Degree in Social Services, Gerontology, or closely related field;
• Experience in the delivery of social services (preferably with the aging and/or disabled populations;
• Thorough experience compiling data and preparing statistical reports;
• Strong supervisory, organizational, interpersonal, attention to detail and decision-making skills;
• Considerable experience preparing and monitoring grant funded initiatives; or
• Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Valid Tennessee Driver license.
