Ethos Veterinary Health is Hiring a Center Manager - Veterinary Medicine Near San Diego, CA
Clinic hours of operation: Monday to Friday 11 am to 8 pm, Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 7 pmThe Role:
- The Center Manager will be responsible for successfully overseeing business operations, finances, and productivity. The incumbent will be responsible for profit and loss (P&L) management of the business with direct influence on how to resources are allocated.
- The Center Manager is responsible for creating a culture of encouragement, mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members incorporating the company’s vision, mission, and core values.
- The Center Manager must possess strong client service skills and build a culture of exceptional client experience.
- The Center Manager will collaborate with the hospital Medical Director to ensure effective deployment of medical services.
- Ensure compliance and accountability for all standard hospital operating procedures as well as full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and all applicable laws governing veterinary business operations.
- Accountable for client and referring veterinarian satisfaction.
- The Center Manager will be required to work hours that include nights and weekends.
- We are seeking individuals who possess strong business acumen, have proven leadership capabilities, a high level of emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, the ability to develop employees, be a strategic thinker /problem solver, be an outstanding communicator, and can cultivate a positive working environment that supports an exceptional client experience.
- Recent experience in hands-on operations positions may help a candidate to be successful in this role.
- Prior experience in hospitality management or retail operations will make the operations manager successful.
- Candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and 5 plus years of business and people leadership experience.
- Veterinary industry experience is not required, but a comfort level working within a clinical setting will be necessary.
