A large client of ours in Poughkeepsie is looking for a Quality Inspector for a first shift position.
Quality Inspector Job Duties:- Inspect and test the product before it leaves the factory
- Collect and record data about the product. Data may include product imperfections or inconsistencies
- Coordinate with Shipping Coordinator for shipping schedules and anticipated workload
- Communicate any product/parts shortages to the Parts Department and service teammates
- Maintain clean work area and machines
- Comply with all safety procedures and attend all scheduled safety training
- Perform other work duties as assigned
- Experience operating a forklift
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
