Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions is seeking an Accounting Clerk for our client located in Poughkeepsie, NY. The Accounting Clerk is responsible for accounts payable and receivables, collections of AR, processing payroll, generating reports and assisting the Financial Controller with various reports and projects. This position is key in managing working capital and cash flow.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing and reviewing all invoices for appropriate documentation
• Managing accounts receivables and maintaining customer relationships
• Disbursing petty cash and verifying documentation and bank reconciliations
• Processing of weekly payroll for all employees using Paylocity
• Generating all accounting reports such as daily cash and quarterly sales tax

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is Finance or Accounting
• 1-2 years of related experience. Candidates
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Payroll experience using Paylocity

This is a full time direct hire opportunity. Pay rate is $45,000 per year.
