Validation Engineer - I (Assistant)
6 Months contract
West Point, PA
Pay Rate: $35.87/hr on w2

Position will involve Validation/Metrology tasks but also supporting Finance too. Multi tasking
Normal day- archiving, supporting equipment maintenance. Taking care of the last stop for activities. Break off portion of day for finance and do Validation activities the remainder.
Perfect candidate would be hard worker with Validation/Metrology but also finance/book keeping/records keeping (a lot of archiving).
6 month assignment (maternity leave)
Experience more important than degree

• Review, and archive instrument/equipment documentation such as master equipment lists, user access reviews, Instrument Installation & operational qualification documentation, and calibration documentation.
• Verify equipment asset information in multiple locations for accuracy post system migration
• Participate in computer system validation activities associated with new or upgraded equipment or software packages.
• Support the purchase, installation, and equipment qualification of new laboratory equipment.
• Support Finance for external programs
• Collaborate with metrology and validation staff across multiple testing labs and sites for system relocations and lab optimization activities.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (cGMP), internal policies and procedures.
• Customer focused mindset with the ability to communicate adequately (verbally/writing) to all levels within the organization.
• Willingness and ability to quickly upskill in client Facilities/Instrument support programs SAP, ProCal, QEC, ELPRO, BAS, LAMP, EVAL and MEDS.

Quals--
Associate’s degree or higher preferred with 1-2 years of experience or 4-5 years working experience in metrology/information technology / customer service or other relevant field. Experience working in a GMP environment and maintaining laboratory equipment. Highly organized, strong communication skills. Capable of working independently.
