Job Description

Summary:

• The main function of a Security Lead is to ensure the digital product is designed, configured, tested, implemented, and supported in alignment with the defined Caterpillar Security Model.
• A typical Security Lead is responsible for evaluating and ensuring product & process enhancements align with the Security Model.

Job Responsibilities:

• This role will focus on the client’s defined Security Model for the Strategic Procurement and Planning Division (SPPD) Digital Supply PROcure transformation and suite of digital products.
• This role will become a Subject Matter Expert on PROcure and client’s standard security model for user access and data security.
• Candidate will define standard work for creating, executing, and updating user access & audit management in alignment with the Security Model.
• Will measure adherence to the Security Model.

The Security Lead will assist SPPD Digital Supply with the following Services and Deliverables:

• Define, Test, Implement, and Monitor Security Model
• Incorporate new Source to Contract Digital Products into Security Model
• Create & Use Analytics Reports to monitor adherence to the Security Model.
• Define, Create, and Perform User Access & Audit Management tasks/standard work.
• Collaborate with internal & external parties on Security changes, tasks, and issues.
• Provide application support within the Service Level Agreement expectations.

Skills:

• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service, a quick learner/willingness to learn and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage one’s time, take initiative, capture/use reference notes, and prioritize multiple activities/requests.

The following qualifications are required:

• 2 years’ experience in customer service
• 2 years’ experience in user access and/or data security.

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience with Office 365 Application Suite
• Knowledge and experience in Procurement.
• Knowledge and experience in creating & using Analytics.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in related field is required.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience required.
