- Conduct thorough security assessments, including penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and threat modeling, in alignment with industry best practices and standards.
- Utilize your expertise in OWASP principles to identify and address application security vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement effective security measures to mitigate risks and safeguard critical assets.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security trends, proactively adapting strategies to ensure ongoing protection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product development processes.
- Provide guidance on enterprise security architecture, identity and access management, and business process design.
- Assist in compliance efforts by applying knowledge of relevant standards such as ISO 27001, 27002, NIST CSF, NIST 800-82, and ISA 62443.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with CICD pipeline integration, GitHub, and automating pipelines.
- Familiarity with firewall configurations and governance around it.
- Application development background with a focus on cybersecurity.
- Embedding security practices into pipelines and fixing vulnerabilities at various stages of development."
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5 or more years of experience in information security.
- Proven experience with a wide range of information security processes and principles, including but not limited to threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, risk analysis, and defense in depth.
- Strong familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, 27002, NIST CSF, NIST 800-82, and ISA 62443.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Self-driven and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Experience with SOC reporting.
- Familiarity with cloud security principles and technologies, particularly AWS.
- Previous experience in a consulting or client-facing role.
- Dynamic application security testing
