Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years nursing assistant experience.

BLS- AHA.

Any state CNA active certification.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients and assist with their daily activities. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications under the guidance of healthcare professionals
- Monitor and document patient progress, including changes in condition or behavior
- Assist with patient transfers and mobility exercises
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment

Skills:
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Knowledge of memory care techniques for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease
- Proficiency in venipuncture and specimen collection procedures
- Ability to perform patient assessments and recognize changes in condition
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
- Competence in ventilating patients when necessary
- Proficient in providing catheter care and assistance
- Experience working in a nursing home or long-term care facility

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- CPR certification preferred
