ETC Physical Therapy is Hiring a Patient Care Coordinator Near Kansas, MO
Job Description
ETC Physical Therapy has an opening for a full-time traveling Patient Care Coordinator. This Patient Care Coordinator position would ideally provide daily coverage in any of our clinics when help is needed. This position may require working in a different clinic each day, but will be a full time position.
All of our clinics are within a 30 mile radius of our administration office in Belton, MO.
Job Summary:
The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the consistent flow of daily operations of the clinic by providing excellent customer service, effective communication skills with providers, patients, physician offices and insurance companies and efficiently handling all job functions and assigned tasks. The Patient Care Coordinator may have to provide coverage for any of our clinics.
Qualifications:
-At least 1-2 years of front office experience in the medical, dental or chiropractic field preferred. Experience in a fast-paced, busy clinic/office is a plus.
-Professional individual who has the ability to multi-task, excellent customer service & communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work with little to no supervision, team player and computer skills (Microsoft Office products, etc).
-Must have reliable transportation.
Job Functions:
-Greeting patients, checking patients in/out on the clinic in a friendly/warm manner and answering multi-line phone.
-Scheduling (EMR scheduling system); new patient referrals (call-in, walk-in) and existing patient follow-up appointments.
-Handling all medical documents/records.
-Collecting and documenting patient payments.
-Assisting in corresponding between doctors' offices, patients and therapy providers.
These are the basic required skill set for the Patient Care Coordinator position. Upon hire, you will complete full training that will include specific training tailored towards the necessary job duties/skills needed for your specific clinic.
