Our client, an esteemed international law firm, is seeking a meticulous New Business Intake and Conflicts Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in maintaining the integrity of our client's operations while upholding the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality. POSITION SUMMARY

As an NBI/Conflicts Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to manage daily workflow, conduct conflict checks, make necessary client matter adjustments, and assign client matter numbers. Your attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality will be essential in this role.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete detailed Conflict of Interest Reports, including thorough internet searches.
  • Refer to the NBI Reference Manual for guidance on procedures and information.
  • Assign client matter numbers accurately.
  • Notify attorneys of any issues encountered during the matter opening process.
  • Assign affiliations for all client matters.
  • Maintain records of all client matter modifications.
  • Process Dunn and Bradstreet reports (DNBi) and Hoover data.
  • Ensure system integrity and perform database cleanup as necessary.
  • Handle exiting attorney reports and requests for closing client files.
  • Manage all client matter re-openings, including re-running conflict reports and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Maintain client and employee confidences; protect operations by safeguarding confidential information.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to take initiative by training and mentoring new NBI hires, staff, and attorneys on NBI policies and procedures. Our client values efficiency and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience in Legal NBI/Conflicts, with prior experience in a law firm required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but a combination of education and experience will also be considered. Your experience must be in civil litigation.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
