Job Description:
This position is responsible for ensuring all purchase orders are issued and monitored for the organization through closure. Open order management is maintained through product receipt while ensuring data accuracy from requisition through closure upon invoice payment. Requires the ability to transition requisitions to purchase orders, follow-up, and maintain order status with a high level of accuracy across multiple systems. Proactively manages orders for order accuracy, on-time delivery, inventory stability, and communication effectiveness. This is a collaborative position and works with many other departments and vendors to ensure orders and needs are addressed and communicated. Professional and prompt customer service is critical with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Anticipates stakeholder needs, proactively communicates, and works to resolve any open issues. Escalates promptly when assistance is needed while providing background resolution attempts, research options, and suggestions for decision evaluation.
Education Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manually key requisitions to purchase orders
• Send purchase orders to vendors
• Obtain and enter purchase order confirmations (manual & EDI)
• Update and maintain purchase order status through product receipt
• Proactively evaluating and follow up on past due orders
• Use enhanced data management skills – build and use reports, analyze, proactive correction, and data visualization tools
• Advanced internal and external customer service skills – proactive, anticipates needs, pushes communication
• Resolves errors and if escalation is needed brings research/suggestions
• Participates in projects that define process

Educational Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree and 3 years of supply chain experience

OR

• 5 years of supply chain experience

Required Qualifications:

• At least 3 years supply chain experience
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite Experience required including (will consider equivalent tool experience):
• Outlook – Ability to apply and setup rules for email
• Word – Uses multi-page document/formatting tools, tables, and mail merge effectively
• Excel – Uses more complex formulas including VLOOKUP and IF statements. Can pivot and chart data.
• PowerPoint – Can create and present in slideshow using animation.
• Visio – Can process map using interactive tools representing multi-department flows in swim lanes
• Demonstrated data management skills including data analysis, report evaluation and/or creation
• Previous experience in process definition including process mapping and continuous improvement activities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 3 years healthcare, clinical, or technical experience
• Current certification from Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM), Institute for Supply Management (ISM), International Society of Logistics (SOLE), Association for Supply Chain Management (NCMA), Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), Institute of Business Forecasting & Planning (IBF), Project Management Institute (PMI), or Institute for Process Excellence (IpX)

Pay Range
$21.27 - $31.91 / hour

The approximate base compensation range is posted, but the actual offer will reflect our total compensation and benefits package. The offer will be determined by a number of factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our team.
