Technical Lead - Cloud Database Specialist

6 Months contract . possible CTH or extension

Location: Onsite in McLean, VA (Preferred) Open to Dallas, TX and Atlanta, GA - Hybrid model.

Open to Remote.

Required Skills:

Must Have:

• Postgres, Aurora,
• Mongo Atlas
• Cloud CFT
• Understanding of VPC(virtual private cloud)
• Terraform
• Cloud Automation development.

Preferred: Understanding of Neptune, Dynamo, Document DB

Job description:

A successful candidate will have the following characteristics:

• Knowledge and expertise with AWS cloud infrastructure
• Understanding of Cloud architecture, end points, VPC , Security groups etc
• Skilled at creating and modifying Cloud formation templates.
• Skilled at creating new Terraform templates.
• Experience in designing Aurora Postgres and Mongo Atlas databases.
• Experience in maintaining and improving backups, restore process.
• Experience with Aurora 5-7 years.
• Experience with Mongo Atlas 5- 7 yrs.
• Experience with CFT development 5- 7 yrs.
• Good working knowledge of Cloud security elements , IAM roles etc
• New technology assessment skills
• Understanding of Neptune, Dynamo, Document DBs
