Position Overview: This position is under the direct supervision of the Site Supervisor and is responsible for the protection, safeguarding and security of assets, personnel, customers and all visitors.

Essential Job Functions

. Conduct security duties such as assisting with contractor and guest sign-in and verification. . Follow up with colleague, resident and guests request
. Enforce post procedures and policies.
. Protect properties from theft, sabotage, fire, and accidents.
. Investigate and write reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards, equipment, damage, presence of unauthorized persons, theft, and any other security related situations.
. Be able to stand for more than 4 hours at any time . Monitor safety and security surveillance cameras . Performs other duties assigned by Site Supervisor

Requirements

. 18 years of age.
. Must have active PILB card or is able to obtain a PILB card.
. have a flexible schedule
. Work in weather environments that may sometimes be extremely hot or extremely cold, snowy, or icy.
. Follow established security protocols while using initiative and good judgment.
. Maintain a neat and professional appearance and provide excellent customer service as needed.
. Must be able to operate a handheld radio, cell phone and computer
. Have good written and verbal skills. Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
. Must be able to verify all guests, deliveries or contractors authorized to access and enter the property premises through the gatehouse.
. Computer skills necessary, particularly with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. Be able to understand multiple search platforms pertaining to residents.

Education/Other Skills

. High School Diploma or GED;
. Or one year of equivalent work experience.
