Ervin Cable is Hiring a Billing Manager Near Brentwood, TN

Overview:
A successful Field Billing Manager shall maintain and monitor billing operations across an array of projects to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness. Organize and develop the materials/labor units from new Purchase Orders into a job/contract for our billing system. Manage lien waivers and Exhibit B's of sub contractors. Oversee redline/as built's processes. Shall assist in any training surrounding billing processes for project managers and supervisors. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of general office functions; proficient in the use of word processing and spreadsheet software with emphasis on Microsoft and/or Google; ability to use a computer and other office related equipment; ability to read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data.

In order to perform this job, you must demonstrate, either by training or experience:
  • the ability to work safely, with or without supervision
  • the ability to read understand, interpret, input, and analyze data with a high degree of accuracy and completeness
  • excellent manual dexterity
  • the ability to follow instructions and communicate verbally and in writing
  • the ability to communicate with Company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed
  • the ability to work seated at a table for extended periods
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, develop, and provide leadership to employees and supervisors of an assigned area, department, or project(s).
  • Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Develop processes to ensure completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project(s).
  • Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist an assigned area, department, or project(s).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 5 years of related work experience.
  • Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience.
  • Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.
