Job Summary

This position is responsible for generating, process, and distributing invoices based on supplies utilized and/or services rendered. Works with our healthcare customers to ensure that purchase orders are being issued as needed and to minimize interruptions in the approval and payment processes. This is a remote opportunity; candidates must be available to work Central Standard hours. 

  • Evaluate and accurately process charges submitted by our clinical staff on a daily basis.
  • Build a good rapport with our internal staff and external customers.
  • Obtain purchase order numbers from hospital contacts as required by our customers
  • Secure timely payment (based on our contractual terms).
  • Generate invoices and credit memos as appropriate.
  • Research and resolve any disputes related to services/products provided.
  • Contact customers via telephone, e-mail and/or mail to resolve past due balances.
  • Provide detailed documentation of collection efforts on a monthly basis and as requested.
  • Represent SpecialtyCare with the highest level of professionalism by providing our clients with exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, or GED required 

Experience:

  • None required
  • Experience working with PeopleSoft, preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience, acceptable

Knowledge & Skill

  • Good understanding of debits and credits and the billing process.

Pay Estimate: $15.43 - $23.89 / hour (Several factors, such as specific skill set, education level, certifications and years of experience, are considered to determine actual compensation.)

Other compensation: Referral bonus, quarterly team bonus
