At our 40-bed hospital, we provide specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services to our patients, serving the communities of Southern New Mexico. We are seeking a Nurse Educator to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Required Skills:

• Current Registered Nurse license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Three years’ direct nursing experience required.
• One year experience in Employee Education preferred.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

• Knowledge of principles of adult learning in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of education programs.
• Knowledge of current nursing theory and practice, infection control, and wound care standards of practice.
• Knowledge of current regulatory requirements and best practices for industry.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
• Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
• Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
