Erdrich, USA is Hiring a Jr. Project Manager Near Dublin, GA

Objectives:
(fundamental objectives for orientation of the job holder)

Qualitative, cost-effective and timely control and coordination of processes and relocation projects, as well as implementation of projects in the company, under consistent application of the Erdrich Group standards for project management. Organizing, monitoring and implementation of work preparation and project optimization into the company.

Duties:

(key primary duties in logical order)

The job holder is a permanent member of the Project Core Team and manages/coordinates the corresponding ongoing communication.

  • Project planning and project controlling (documentation project process, reporting, etc.)
  • Planning, coordination and supervision of sample productions
  • Customer interface in connection with new projects
  • Intensive communication with all relevant interfaces for the project
  • Determination, optimization and updating of process and planning data through the process chain in SAP
  • Logistics planning
  • Packaging planning
  • Lead Change Management process
  • Organization of CIP projects
  • Participation in optimization workshops
  • Participation in audits

Competencies:

(special authorizations, approval authorization)

  • Access to all relevant IT systems (SAP, Babtec, etc.)
  • Request for all project-relevant information from Sales and the departments
  • Professional-managerial authorization within the projects for which they are responsible
  • Request of resources within the scope of the projects for which they are responsible
  • Management role within the Project Team

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for qualitative, cost-effective and timely control and coordination of processes and projects in the company.
  • Responsible for achieving objectives and an efficient project handling
  • Responsible for the continuous improvement of series projects
  • Responsible handling of resources and competencies
  • Continuous active participation for further development of the Project Management in the company
  • Responsible for change management
  • Responsible for the development and achievement of key performance indicators within the area of responsibility
  • Obligation to inform the superior in case of a deviation from the project plan

Environmental conditions of the workplace:

  • Safety and environmental regulations of the company are to be observed at all workstations

Required training:

  • Holds a degree in engineering specializing in mechanical engineering, economic engineering or a similar specialization; alternatively, completed vocational training as a technician or master craftsman with a focus on mechanical engineering.

Professional experience:

  • Experience in project management
  • Industry experience in metal forming technology
  • Several years of professional and industry experience
  • Experience in team management
  • Knowledge of the quality standards IATF 16949
  • Good IT-skills (MS Office, SAP, BDE)

Personal skills:

  • Conceptual skills – able to recognize higher-level connections and concentrate on main points that are decision-relevant
  • Organizational skills - Organize work procedures systematically and effectively, recognize and set priorities, maintain an overview and meet deadlines, structure duties efficiently and use resources optimally
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills - identify and analyze problems, determine causes and devise a solution or goal-oriented decision bases
  • Power of persuasion - ability to convince using quality and persuasive arguments and to clearly communicate intentions
  • Conflict skills - ability to promptly recognize conflict situations and handle them constructively
  • Skills to manage project teams and lead meetings.
