*This position is located in our Fort Myers, FL office and is eligible for a hybrid schedule after the probationary period.
JOB OVERVIEW:
The New Client Accounts Specialist - Onboarding Associate serves as a point of contact for establishing and funding new accounts. The ideal candidate for this role strives to enhance and expand client relationships to improve client satisfaction, and provides additional opportunities or education related to ETC products and services available. This role often works cross functionally with the Sales, Client Services, and Operations teams to strengthen client loyalty, referrals, and retention.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Maintains a strong understanding of the alternative investments our clients prefer including but not limited to: Private Funds, Commercial Real Estate, Venture Capital, Angel Investing and more
- Efficiently and proactively manages client correspondence (incoming calls, emails, chats, and client visits)
- Reaches out to prospective clients via phone call, text, and/or email to provide support with application
- Answers client questions regarding IRA rules and our IRA set up process
- Assists with existing channels of referrals and current relationships to identify ways to build new business and deepen relationships
- Ensures that new clients are successfully transitioned into our service department upon completing the new account onboarding process
- Utilizes Salesforce to keep all transaction and case statuses updated, also logging all communication.
- Builds and maintains relationships with account holders and referral sources
- Collaborates with the management team for special events or meetings
- Works across departments to assist with special projects, as necessary
- Attends industry trade shows, seminars, conferences, and networking events on occasion (some nights/weekends may be required)
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree required or 2 years of relevant work experience
- 2 years of experience in the financial sector, specifically working with advisers, financial planning, asset management programs, and private placement funds
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. While
performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to speak and hear. The associate is
frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as stand, walk, use hands and fingers,
and reach with hands and arms. This job requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or
stand on a stool as necessary.
