Team Overview
We are looking for a hands on Junior Business Analyst to join us in our Berkely Heights, New Jersey office working on our EquiLend Spire product and client integrations. As part of this role you will work closley with the IT team on product roadmaps and reporting. This team is largely working on Data Integration projects, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for our clients such as agent lenders, prime brokers, retail brokers, beneficial owners and collateral managers.

EquiLend Spire is a state of the art platform and technology driven hub for securities finance firms, featuring modules that cater to the specific client needs across the front, middle, and back office. EquiLend Spire provides features such as books and records, settlements, fails management and more.

Role Responsibilities

• Work alongside internal and external front, middle and back office teams to ensure the successful implementation of the EquiLend Spire platform for clients.
• Ensure the seamless integration and implementation of clients data into the EquiLend Spire product.
• Work with the relevant teams to implement new UI features into the EquiLend Spire product.
• Write user stories, participate in scrum calls, prioritize the backlog and sprint planning using tools such as JIRA.
• Capture, document and maintain business and functional requirements, process and system flows, and test plans ensuring stakeholder alignment at all times.
• Identify roadblocks on the pathway to completion and propose solutions and/or escalate accordingly.
• Communicate key project updates to stakeholders at all levels in a concise and timely manner.

Required Skills

• 3 years experience in the financial services industry in a similar role (such as Business Analyst or Product Manager).
• You have hands on experience designing, writing and implementing product roadmaps.
• You have hands on experience with external client Data Integration projects.
• You have previous experience working with IT teams such as back and front end developers.
• You posses an analytical mindset and structured approach to problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• You are a team player that works well with both technical and non-technical resources.
• A base level understanding of Securities Borrowing / Lending woud be beneficial but not essential.
