WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Principal Software Developer, you'll be at the forefront of a captivating journey. You'll be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining complex and diverse software systems. Expect to immerse yourself in tasks like processing-intensive analytics, pioneering new algorithms, handling extensive data sets, and managing real-time systems and business management information systems.

• Off-the-Shelf Expertise: Explore the possibilities of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) solutions, reducing the need for new development.
• Requirements Maestro: Contribute to requirements analysis and synthesis, bridging the gap from system-level needs to individual software components

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING

• Educational Edge: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Alternatively, four years of additional software engineering experience on similar projects can be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Seasoned Expertise: You'll need at least 20 years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts with similar scope and complexity.
• Mission Management Mastery: This role is part of the Mission Management team, so you'll need to be well-versed in data/mission space metrics, tool creation in mission management space, and have a strong grasp of Java, Python, and Elk Stack.
• Coding Virtuoso: Master Python, Jython, Java, Groovy to craft innovative solutions.
• Visualization Wizardry: A solid understanding of Grafana and the ability to develop data transformation pre-processors and data flow management using NiagraFiles is crucial.
• Data Dynamo: Navigate the world of GOTS query and visualization tools with ease.
• Analytics Maestro: Leverage your expertise with cutting-edge analytics and visualization tools like Grafana and Kibana, backed by a deep understanding of Prometheus and Opensearch.
• Data Whisperer: Decode corporate health, status, and data monitoring with finesse.
• Toolbox Navigator: Familiarity with corporate tools like MAASIMPACT is a definite plus.
• Service Savvy: Possess a strong grasp of corporate services like NiFi, XKS, UTT/SSDM, and more.
