Early Childhood Assistant Teachers
Episcopal School of Nashville is seeking exceptional Early Childhood Assistant Teachers in 3K, PK, and Kindergarten for the 2024-2025 academic school year. The ideal candidate will be an aspiring or experienced educator capable of meeting each child’s needs and supporting the lead teacher(s). In addition, the ideal candidate is a thoughtful listener, who is able to effectively motivate and teach Early Childhood-age students with diverse learning needs and abilities. An ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, colleagues, and families, both orally and in writing, is essential. Professionalism, a positive outlook, a good sense of humor, and a student-centered approach are highly valued. We seek a colleague who enjoys being part of a highly collaborative team, with a commitment to interdisciplinary projects and innovative pedagogy. All candidates must be willing to embrace and implement the Responsive Classroom approach to teaching and learning.
