- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- In conjunction with supervisor, team members and residents, assists in planning, implementing, leading and evaluating the activity programs of assigned communities to help in meeting the needs of our residents. Works with supervisor and Activities team when planning trips. Encourages resident participation in activities within individual capabilities.
- Welcomes new residents and encourages them to engage with activities that appeal to them as they are able.
- Assists with creating and distributing monthly newsletters and calendars
- Ensures that the appropriate management team members are informed and current on scheduled plans and events, and encourages all team members to participate in and assist with large gatherings.
- Assists in the promotion of ERS AL’s Volunteer Program.
- Works with volunteers to train them, coordinate activities and maintain service hour records.
- Assists with planning and implementation of special events as requested.
- Commits to aligning behavior in accordance with the ERS Core Values and Ways of Working.
