About the Position:

The Federal Government Proposal Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end proposal development process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and competitive proposals that align with the needs and requirements of federal healthcare agencies.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage the entire proposal development lifecycle, from initial opportunity identification to proposal submission and post-submission activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop winning themes, discriminators, and proposal strategies that differentiate the business unit's offerings and maximize the probability of success.
  • Develop and execute detailed proposal plans, including the allocation of resources, development of schedules, and identification of key milestones and deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to solicitation requirements and compliance with federal regulations.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to gather necessary information and incorporate it into the proposal.
  • Oversee the development of well-written, persuasive proposal content; review and edit proposal sections for clarity, consistency, compliance, and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and partners to obtain the necessary information and inputs required for proposal development.
  • Facilitate meetings and reviews to ensure effective collaboration and timely completion of proposal sections.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact the proposal development process or the success of the proposal.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews and evaluations of proposals to identify areas for improvement and incorporate lessons learned into future proposal efforts.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including federal healthcare agencies, partners, and subcontractors.
  • Occasional out of area and overnight travel.

What You'll Bring:

  • Ten years of experience in managing federal government proposals, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Proven experience managing proposals for federal healthcare agencies, such as the Department of Veteran's Affairs (VA), Defense Health Agency (DHA), DHHS, and other healthcare-related agencies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or related field.
  • Familiarity with proposal management software and tools is a plus.

Salary: $95,000 - $100,000
