Our Greyling team is hiring an Accounting Specialist.

Greyling a division of EPIC, is a specialty insurance brokerage and risk consulting firm dedicated to serving architects, engineers, contractors, environmental service firms and law firms. Greyling | EPIC combined have a depth of industry expertise across key lines of insurance, including risk management, property and casualty, employee benefits, unique specialty program insurance and private client services.

Responsibilities:

• Supports Controller and Accounting Department
• Coordinates and reviews carrier invoices
• Verifies account information in shared database
• Performs other related support duties as requested

Accounts Payable:

• Reviews insurance carrier invoices and matches to policies billed in Sagitta
• Reconciles any differences
• Determines which invoices can be paid based upon client collections.
• Scan vendor payable invoices and submit to corporate for payment
• Follow up to determine if invoices are paid and file electronically
• Prepares periodic AP reports for distribution to Greyling staff

Deposits:

• Prepares and submits all deposits through the remote deposit scanner with the bank - backup
• Save an electronic copy of the check copies and deposit summary in the Accounting folder

Other Responsibilities:

• Attend monthly meetings with Account Administrators
• Notary for office – plus, but not required

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in an accounting role
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Technical accuracy; attention to detail
