Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of nursing care within our facility. This is a critical leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, exceptional management skills, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.

Duties:
- Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient care
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed
- Conduct regular audits of documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Oversee the management of medications, including ordering, storage, administration, and documentation
- Ensure that all resident rights are respected and upheld within the facility
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in nursing care, implementing changes as necessary
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred
- Valid state nursing license
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing management or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of shift management systems and processes
- Experience in home care, hospice care, or home health is highly desirable
- In-depth understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of successfully managing a team
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively

Pay is based on experience
