We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team for administrative, clinical and quality assurance efforts for our Home Care agency based in our Sarasota office. Looking for someone who is passionate, personable and focused, with great organizational skills. We are looking for a Registered Nurse who is seeking an entrepreneurial and progressive position, where they can grow and take the lead.

The ideal candidate must be able to work as a team member but also to work independently dealing with clients and compliance issues.

Schedule is flexible and part time, guaranteed 10 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

• The position is divided between 70% administrative work and 30% clinical, as the company grows the responsibilities will grow and evolve, so we are looking for someone adaptable and self sufficient
• Conducting initial phone/ home assessments and creating a plan of care on an as-needed basis.
• Observe caregiver in work setting and write up performance report. Therefore, routine visits are scheduled on a rotation basis so that staff can be observed on all shifts of care being provided to a patient, including “off-hours” service.
• Communicate with caregivers, family members and guardians
• Monitor the quality/appropriateness of care is being provided by competent staff;
• Determine that the patient is satisfied and comfortable with the care and staff members
• Participate in providing consultation on agency policies and procedures;
• Make recommendations to the Administrator regarding the retention, development, assignment of staff

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license is required
• Previous experience in home care, nursing or other medical fields - 3-5 years preferred; previous experience in a home health care agency is a plus
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience as a registered nurse
• Administrative and organizational skills
• Valid Driver's License and Car
• 2 excellent professional references
