The Payroll Administrator performs functions to oversee the organization’s payroll functions, ensuring that pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.
Essential Functions May Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
- Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; and reporting needed changes.
- Prepares paychecks for distribution.
- Reconciles PTO hours and missed punches on a weekly basis.
- Monitors the use of vacation and holiday hours to ensure compliance with company policy.
- Prepares technician timesheets and backup documentation.
- Imports and exports data to and from multiple software programs to include UKG WorkforceNow and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
- Reconciles payroll to ensure the accuracy of information.
- Enters job costing data for all billable technician labor.
- Performs a variety of routine or miscellaneous office duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
- Performs other duties as assigned
