This role is an onsite position and may be filled in Beaumont, TX and / or Clinton, MS.

JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE :

Manages the execution of the Technical Training program function.

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

Provides overall direction, planning and performance of Technical Training group activities to ensure achievement of budget goals.

Integrates Technical Training activities into daily operations to ensure safe, reliable, cost efficient operation.

Provides organizational guidance, direction, leadership, and planning for line training related activities. Interfaces with the appropriate Manager to determine how training resources can best be applied to improve line performance.

Identifies training needs, contracts support, prepares budget, and oversees corrective actions and work activities related to Technical Training.

Works effectively with the Management Team by setting priorities, allocating resources, and supporting operational leadership.

Encourages an environment which fosters a strong performance culture through continuous training. Ensures training provided to site personnel reinforces these principles.

Ensures compliance with applicable requirements, regulations, procedures, and specifications.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

Minimum education required of the position

Bachelor's degree in related field or the equivalent work experience.

Minimum experience required of the position

5-7 years

Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position
