Summary : Seeking an experienced Welding Technician for a hands-on role involving welding operations, blueprint interpretation, and local travel.

Job Requirements :

Minimum 5 years of welding experience in a shop environment or trade school education in machining or welding.

Certified Welder (CW) credential required.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents such as procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and engineering blueprints.

Knowledge of fabrication, tooling terms, and definitions.

Must possess a valid Driver's License with the ability to travel locally as needed.

Preferred Skills :

Familiarity with various weld symbols (candidates will be quizzed on weld symbols during the qualification process).

Job Responsibilities :

Perform welding tasks according to specifications and safety standards.

Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to accurately fabricate components.

Maintain equipment and troubleshoot issues during the welding process.

Ensure quality control measures are met for all welding operations.

Additional Information :

Duration of employment is approximately 9 months with potential variability.

The position requires availability for overtime work as needed.

Workweek is Monday through Friday with shifts from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm.

Pay Details : $25.00 to $33.00 per hour
