Summary:

Seeking an experienced Crane Technician/Field Service Technician for maintenance and repair of crane equipment, including mobile cranes and boom trucks.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and operate cranes to identify defects.
• Use micrometers and gauges to assess part damage or wear.
• Interpret manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Test repaired or modified mechanical, electronic, electrical, and hydraulic equipment for OEM compliance.
• Prepare for jobs by verifying parts and drawings.
• Work independently without supervision.
• Conduct accurate annual inspections.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations.
• Complete reports accurately: work, hours, time sheets, overviews, expense reports.
• Deliver excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years as a Mechanic/Technician.
• Experience with mobile crane equipment (Grove RT/TMS Cranes; Grove GMK European Cranes; Manitowoc EPIC/Traditional Cranes; National Boom Trucks; Manitex Boom Trucks/Cranes).
• Professional demeanor with punctuality and respectful communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory record preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Manufacturer-approved training/certifications preferred.
