Summary: Seeking an Avionics Engineer for long-term, open-ended contract work with expertise in aerospace or electrical engineering and a deep understanding of FAA rules, regulations, and certification processes.

Job Requirements:

• BS or MS Degree in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering.

• Basic to advanced understanding of general aviation avionics, and rotorcraft or general aircraft systems.

• Advanced understanding of FAA rules, regulations, and certification processes.

• Proficiency in CAD required.

• Basic to advanced electrical analyses experience.

Job Duties:

• Work within the Engineering department Design Group performing avionics integration, electrical and electronic design and integration, and installation design for electrical components and systems for the aircraft.

• Responsible for coordinating efforts on electrical design projects as well as supporting vendor projects, various certification programs, and current production.

• Report to the Design Manager and work with other Engineering groups.

• Encouraged to apply for FAA Systems DER if they do not already have the qualification.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $33.00 per hour
