ENT & Allergy Specialists is Hiring a Medical Assistant - Allergy and Immunology Near Fort Mitchell, KY
- Monday -Friday Schedule, Full Time Hours
- No Nights or Weekends
- No On Calls

- Obtain patient medical information and measure patient vital signs.
- Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the provider.
- Authorize drug refills, provide prescription information to pharmacies, complete prior authorizations
- Perform Allergy skin testing and patch testing
- Assist with challenges to foods and medications.
- Perform FeNO and Pulmonary Function Testing, calibrate equipment.
- Mix Venom injections and administer.
- Mix biologic injections and administer, train patients on self-injections.
- Mix and administer other injections ordered by the provider.
- Mix allergy testing boards.
- Record patient history and information into the EMR system (EPIC).
- Gather as much information as possible about patients prior to the provider seeing the patient.
- Stock, restock, and clean rooms for the Clinical Care Coordinator and providers.
- Check inventory monthly including expiration dates, order supplies as needed.
- Provide phone coverage, check faxes, schedule appointments.
- Check insurance benefit information for testing.
- Other duties subject to the needs of the department.
- Previous medical assisting experience is strongly preferred. However, new graduates may be considered.
- Registration (RMA), Certification (CMA), or Certified Clinical (CCMA) is preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize is required.
- Candidates must be able to function efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates must work well independently and with a team.
- Effective oral and written communication skills are a must!
