Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Enterprise Network System (FENS) will serve as the primary means for FAA's telecommunications services and forms the basic infrastructure for the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen). Candidate will perform configuration management and analysis functions associated with FAA configuration management practices. Develop, manage, and maintain configuration management plans, standard operating procedures, and policies. Identifies and develops Configuration Item (CI) baselines. Maintain a central configuration management library, prepare Case Files (CF) and NAS Change Proposals (NCP), review and provide comments on CFs and NCPs. Manage change control activities and CF/NCP databases, supports CCB and CM secretariat functions.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a Position of Public Trust. Must be a US Citizen or 3-year permanent resident.

Location: FAA's William J. Hughes Tech Center(WJHTC), Pomona, NJ

Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week reporting to the WJHTC or as required by the customer.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelors' Degree Preferred

Experience: 6 years of relevant configuration management, process improvement and administrative experience
