We are currently seeking an experienced, driven and highly motivatedDoorman / Woman to join our Guest Experience team at Gleneagles Townhouse.

The on target earning potential for this role is £27,511 / annual salary based on a 39 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £24,011, plus a qualified estimate of £3,500 in gratuities and service charge.*As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

• As the first contact for our guests and members, you’ll be based at our front door, taking huge pride in extending a warm and thoughtful welcome to all
• Greeting each guest warmly by name, taking time to really listen and understand their individual needs, you’ll strive to always exceed their expectations
• You’ll have responsibility for swiftly and professionally ensuring the safe loading and unloading of our guests’ luggage, on occasion delivering and collecting luggage from our guest bedrooms
• Developing an expert knowledge and enthusiasm for our complete Townhouse offering, including all of our facilities, services and procedures, you’ll proactively share these with our guests; constantly looking for opportunities to always enhance the guest experience
• Showing support and respect for all of your team members, you’ll ensure a thorough and effective handover of any outstanding business to the next team
• Interacting with our guests, sharing your knowledge and experience, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations, playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

• Ideally, you’re currently established or have had experience in a similar role, with an outstanding customer service track record
• You have a clean driving license, essential for this role.
• Your attitude and approach are always fresh; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, to your guest it’s the first time
• Intuitively reading people, you know how to anticipate, and fulfil the expectations of our guests; always warm, thoughtful, professional, and well groomed, you play your part in ensuring luxury service is our signature
• Taking great pride in all that you do, you know your contribution is critical for both our guest and your team member experiences; reliable and seeks to consistently complete any task to the highest of standards and efficiently
• You maintain a high standard of personal presentation through very particular grooming, presenting a professional and organised working environment at all times
• Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
• You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
• A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
• You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way

• Overtime is paid at your hourly rate should you be required to work more than your contracted hours.
