ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create comprehensive drawings encompassing electrical schematics, structural elements, layouts, and facility arrangements, including detailed views and profiles, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Expand fundamental engineering knowledge by engaging in formal educational programs and self-directed learning, including the review of technical literature and design standards.
• Consistently deliver project work within allocated timeframes and budget constraints, demonstrating precision and efficiency.
• Proficiently utilize design software such as AutoCAD and/or Microstation, adapting to EQS's drafting standards and guidelines.
• Translate verbal instructions and conceptual sketches into detailed drawings that align with EQS's engineering standards.
• Independently troubleshoot issues arising during the drafting process, resolving concerns related to design intent, consistency, and methodology.
• Stay abreast of software advancements and upgrades, acquiring advanced proficiency in three-dimensional drafting techniques.
• Employ supplementary software tools for civil and surveying drawings, optimizing data translation and productivity.
• Facilitate the skill development of junior drafting team members through training and mentorship.
• No direct supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of a two-year technical program in computer-aided drafting/design or a minimum of two years of practical experience in computer-assisted drafting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in team environments.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, capable of handling confidential information responsibly.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
