We are currently seeking a talented Pre Construction Engineer to join our high performance buildings team, driving our net zero energy capabilities. Bringing experience in HVAC or building systems, you will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical systems for various projects in the Greater Denver area.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop HVAC and building systems designs that meet client requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and simulations to ensure the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of mechanical systems.
  • Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing systems to enhance performance and energy efficiency.
  • Provide technical support during the construction phase, ensuring that installations align with design specifications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to incorporate best practices into engineering designs.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license desirable, but not essential
  • Proven experience in HVAC and building systems design and analysis.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software for simulation and design (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HVAC system analysis tools).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
