Job Summary
An ICE Designer will be responsible for documenting project changes on instrument drawings such as Loops, P&IDs, schematics, etc., and electrical drawings such as Onelines, Elevations, MCC Schematics, Cable Schedules, etc. at multiple well sites around the Permian Basin. This role will assist the client in client company standards, project installations, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and wiring labor as needed. This role will report to the senior Enginuity Global Engineering & Design personnel in the Baton Rouge office.
Desired Qualities
Trade School Completion (Electrician, Tech, Drafting/Design)
Knowledge of P&IDs, MCCs, Loop Checks, Instrument Identification
NEC code experience in Grounding, wire sizing
Knowledge of wireless/radio transmission for remote site control
Basic Electrical AutoCAD experience
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 5 years’ experience
Stable work history
Must be legally eligible to work in the US. Sponsorship is not available
Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screening
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be able to comply with customer site requirements for access/entry
Travel required
Job Responsibilities
On-site supervision of E&I installation at well sites from incoming pole line to all controls and wiring
Supervision of a small team of ICE techs on and off-site
Training ICE techs on drawing standards and implementation
Implementation/troubleshooting of radio-remote motor control
Application & understanding of client standards
Reporting to senior management
Progress meetings with the client engineering team
Field redlines
AutoCAD updates from field redlines
Physical Requirements
See, respond, and report to dangerous situations.
Bending, walking, climbing, kneeling, sitting, and standing for extended periods
Some travel required, may have to drive/travel for extended periods.
Ability to lift heavy objects, up to but not limited to twenty-five pounds.
Required to wear PPE/Safety gear at specific times.
